The day the people won...

Judgment Day. The people won!

Judgment Day

They said it would never happen, they said that it was not what the people wanted, they said many things... They were wrong!  At 8:00pm PDT FoxNews projected the recall of Davis and the winner of the election, California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger!!!

When the smoke cleared it was ever so easy to see what the truth really was.  Gray and his cohorts were caught and exposed.  Not by smear tactics, not by falsehoods ridded in delusion, but by the blinding truth that shined through the web of lies spun by Davis and his team.

Arnold was right in his debate when he said that they could only pull the wool over the people's eyes twice -- this time Davis is out!

The outright lies that were created during the final five days of the election was unprecedented in any recent election.  They are so ludicrous that it will not be addressed nor entertained here.  The only point to mention that the Left Angeles Times did not care about printing was the substantiated allegations that Davis battered more than one 60+ year old women employee of his during one of many psychotically violent rages.

What does this mean for Californians?  What does the new leadership hold?  Are we going to see more promises gone by the wayside as Davis has demonstrated so many times.  I think not.  The outright evil reign of terror has been stopped.  This has been the worst Governor and state legislature of all time in the history of the United States.  Davis is out, next the other corrupt politicians and judges, but for now let's focus on the current victory.

Now Arnold takes on his most ambitious venture.  This is larger than any film production and will make an impact in millions of lives.

Will Arnold rise to the challenge and silence his critics -- I say yes.

First, Arnold knows that the people of California and the world is going to be watching him and validating the campaign promises that he made.  The first step is easy, the recall of the illegally instituted car tax.  The next challenge is the big one, the plan to recover the economy.  This is no easy feat.  There is going to be many changes taking place in the state in order for his program to succeed.  The bottom line is simple enough, cut spending, provide incentives for businesses to return to the state, decrease taxes, improve the image and the credit rating of the state, and to correct the flood of illegal aliens breaking the state financially.

It only took minutes after the polls were closed when the Democrats started talking about Bush, the grave state of the economy in California (something absent from their camp leading up to the recall), and other problems that they demand Schwarzenegger to solve in the next 12 hours!  How ironic that during the 2nd debate that we had a rosy picture of California but that changed tonight!  They are even going so far as to suggest that they are going to fund a recall of Schwarzenegger. How hypocritical can one be?  The bottom line is that there are not enough Republicans in California to have made this recall possible.  Almost 25% of Democrats voted Davis out.  It was a bipartisan effort, end of story.

Arnold has accepted a huge challenge but as has been stated before, he hasGo Arnold! a relentless will to succeed at everything he undertakes.  He has an amazingly talented group of advisors that include one of the wealthiest self made billionaires of all time.  He is such a huge celebrity that California will only benefit from the media spotlight that will expose the corruption that is brewed by the California Congress and Senate who have, up to this point, passed extremely damaging legislation that was signed off by Davis -- totally unchecked and not reported but any major media outlet.

The road ahead is very rocky but for tonight, let's celebrate, the people have spoken and have won!  Thanks to all those people who supported Arnold and wanted a change and spoke up -- we are the real winners.

How ironic that poetic justice is served -- Arnold, the Terminator, terminated Davis' governorship and not a moment too soon!   I know that it is very cliché, but, once again, it has to be said, hasta la vista, Davis!
